Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, trauma-informed therapy that uses light touch to support and restore balance to the central nervous system.

Craniosacral Therapy offers a gentle, trauma-informed, hands-on approach that supports nervous system regulation and the body’s natural ability to restore balance.

Many of the women I see are not necessarily looking for “treatment” — they are feeling overwhelmed, holding tension, or moving through periods of change that feel difficult to navigate alone. Often, these experiences are reflected in the body.

When the nervous system has been under prolonged stress, or shaped by past trauma, it may remain in a state of defence. This can show up as anxiety, persistent tension, disrupted sleep, hormonal imbalance, headaches, digestive discomfort or a general sense of disconnection.

Through light, regulated touch — and when appropriate, subtle sound support — sessions focus first on creating safety. There is no pressure to release anything before your system feels ready. Often, the body first needs to soften. From that place, release may happen naturally.

A trauma-informed approach means we move slowly, respectfully and with clear boundaries. The work follows your nervous system’s pace.

This work may be supportive for:

• Stress and burnout
• Anxiety and overwhelm
• Trauma held in the body
• Hormonal transitions (including perimenopause and menopause)
• Headaches and migraines
• Sleep disturbances
• Chronic muscular tension

Sessions are calm, contained and deeply responsive. The intention is not dramatic change, but grounded regulation — allowing the body to soften, regulate and — when ready — release what no longer needs to be held.

Craniosacral Therapy can be appropriate at different life stages, including during pregnancy and postpartum. Sessions for infants and children are adapted gently and appropriately.
